Features:

  • 12 slices bacon
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 1 orange bell pepper, diced
  • 4 28oz cans pork-and-beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup Ray Ray's All-Purpose BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Ray Ray's All-Purpose Seasoning™
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1/2 lb pulled pork (optional)

When we do this recipe we usually cook open on our smoker at 250 degrees till thick but you can use your oven. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cut 6 slices of bacon into small pieces. Combine onions and bacon in a large pot over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes, then add bell pepper cooking another 2 minutes.

Add beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, cider vinegar, red pepper flakes, Ray Ray's All-Purpose Seasoning™, and the mustard. Stir and cook until hot and beginning to bubble. Pour into a large pan or baking dish. Place remaining 6 slices of bacon across the top. Bake them for 2 hours or until they get dark, rich and thick. ENJOY!
